You are an experienced System Engineer with the skills, confidence and ability to work with a small team within a global organization. We need you to help us investigate, define, simplify and migrate in tooling, processes and infrastructure, but also support our expert teams in solving overarching challenges.
You understand the need to adhere to the company’s standard strategy, compliancy rules, certification processes, and how to peel down these given requirements to accurate tasks or practical work packages.
The role is primarily focused on harmonizing and simplifying infrastructure-related requests and translating our compliance requests into appropriate action. Integration of technologies and close coordination between peers is crucial to our business. You are eager to learn new things, have the ambition to share your knowledge within the our department and towards the company. You are able to coordinate and present our roadmap on compliancy subjects and harmonization targets to other stakeholders.
Skills we can’t do without:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
At least three years experience in system administration of Linux systems.
Experience managing audit and compliance processes such as PCI DSS or ISAE3402 certification for example.
Good communication skill and presenting skills in in English and French.
Ensured data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implementing and managing software and hardware solutions.
Lead technical migration or harmonization project consisting of Linux systems reducing footprint, power, A/C and hardware maintenance costs for company.
Skills we’d like:
Configure, install, repair, and troubleshoot issues related to hardware performance on servers, SAN environment, or network.
Proficiency in multiple scripting languages.
Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
Knowledge of TCP/IP.
Experience with Network Monitoring Systems (Zabbix, Icinga 2, etc.)
