Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
You are accountable for overarching improvements, processes and standards of the whole Account Payments Divisions across its other departments
You lead teams and people of centralized project leads, PMO resources and other specialist and governance roles.
You manage a department mainly based in Germany but as well distributed across several countries in Europe.
You set and implement standards across all other departments within Account Payments
You design and implement a holistic Portfolio Management Framework within Account Payments to ensure transparency and steering of the overall program- & project portfolio with regards to financials, scope, time and risks across all departments.
You define, implement and maintain standards, methods and tools for project delivery across all projects within Account Payments
You implement and continuously improve overarching steering and governance topics such as capacity management, risk management, continuous improvement and budgeting in close collaboration with the division head and the other departments
You are the key contact of the division for other internal domains and key stakeholders (e.g. COO, CMO, Finance, HR, Risk & Compliance)
You report directly to the Division Head of Account Payments within this role

Skills we can’t do without:
You have at least 10 years of (management) experience in the Banking- / IT- and BPO- industry managing business critical services, ideally mixing line management and project management
You are an experienced change manager, thinking out of the box, shown success in turning over teams and departments to adapt to new conditions and ambitions
You have profound working experience in a complex and multinational, multi-cultural organization
You are a motivated people manager with strong leadership qualities, with the ability to build teams and motivate people, including specialists
You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convince people, to prioritize, to overcome barriers and handle internal politics with others
You have profound experience in setting up and running a holistic Project Portfolio Management and PMO function
You effectively oversee and control complex processes, adapting to changing priorities and escalate effectively to stakeholders when necessary
You manage successfully multiple initiatives, business and relationship issues simultaneously
You have a degree in economics or computer science.
You are fluent in English – spoken and written
Skills we’d like:
You have methodological skills in traditional and agile project management (e.g. PRINCE2, SAFe, SCRUM).
You prove solid knowledge of processes and participants in the field of payments
If you are fluently in German that is considered as a big plus.
You have practical experience in management consulting as an advantage.
